Royal Gardens, Harrogate

This two-acre site that was a former bowling and tennis club, located a quarter of a mile from Harrogate town centre, was bought in Spring 2004 with planning permission for eight townhouses. YorPlace then resubmitted an application, again for eight units, but with various amendments that we believed elevated the scheme to another level, in order that houses would stand out from the competition. The townhouses were completed in late Autumn 2005, with all eight units sold by Spring 2006.
